I ordered my subscription for the BBC's Gardeners World
Magazine last month. With Monty Don and the new presenters
of Gardener World it's helping to show gardening is
not only for old folks. It can appeal to people in their
twenties like myself. What first strikes you about this
magazine is the quality of the lovely coloured pictures
and it also features informative and interesting articles.
They feature rare and common plant species in every
edition and the picture really help is to show them
in glorious colour, but also with lots of information
to make sure it's the right choice for your garden.
And for those looking at major changes to their garden
there is a design section covered also. Another monthly
section is for wildlife, here they cover right habitat
for plants and the insects and wildlife you will most
commonly find coming to your garden. The subscription
cost £27.99 and included a saving of 20% from
the rrp. The other benefit you receive is a 10% discount
on plants, trees and shrubs at over 500 selected garden
centres throughout the UK (sadly none around my home).
The process was simple and without hassle, I just hope
canceling it will not be a problem.
