On the 18th August in 1949 Adidas was registered as a company, named after its founder: 'Adi' from Adolf and 'Das' from Dassler. Adidas has spent the last 50 plus years developing ground braking sportswear such as the first football boots to have removeable studs for the 1954 world cup. Recently they have developed the predator football boots which David Beckham uses and swimwear which Ian Thorpe used in the 2000 Olympics.

Adidas have been famous for their "three-stripes" clothing and shoes logo which has equiped 6,000 Olympic athletes from 33 countries and means adidas athletes win 220 medals, including 70 gold in the 1996 Olympics for example. Adidas has also since increased its shoes & tariners market share in the USA market and rival Nike as the worlds most popular brand.

The adidas a3 twin strike is a very good shoe. Not only does the a3
technology absorb shock on hard surfaces, but it also propels your foot
onto the next stride because of the a3 in the forefoot. The shoe is
comfortable and feels stable, although one of the things that i found was
that they take a little while to break in, especially because i have a
low arch.

The twinstrike is a good looking shoe and i am always receiving
comments when i am out and about. I have done quite a lot of running in them
and they are still going strong, the cushioning is still in peak
performance and the sole has been very durable.

I recommend this shoe to anyone as it really is a quality running shoe.

Buy it then go and run!

Overall: 5 stars
Cushioning: 5 stars
Comfort: 4 stars

Predator boot.

Great football boot that is really light weight, second skin feel, ball control is first class and you can
really bend your free kick's like Beckham's. I would rate them as 4/5, because they are not as good as nike total 90 II, which I feel are the best on the market at the moment. The Predator Mania cost at least £100 so they are not cheap, but have re-engineered Predator technology on the softest Predator vamp ever for perfect fit, comfort and optimised ball control. And they were worn by many of the world cup players in 2002. Worth getting if you don't like Nike's total 90 II football boot.
